GRUPO MARTINEZ BIERZO has carried out an identification and evaluation of its environmental aspects, evaluating consumption, waste, discharges, emissions, etc. in each of its processes. Derived from the Significant Environmental Aspects detected the following environmental objectives for 2023 are settled:
“100% of the energy consumed had to come from renewable energy.
And at least 30% of the energy consumed had to be self-consumption of renewable energies”
“Reduce water consumption valued annually by 10% compared to 2023”
To date, all energy consumption comes from renewable energy (classification A) and the recorded self-consumption data indicates that the set objective has not been achieved since the self-consumption data is 28%.
