1. Introduction
The training of staff in the areas related to our activity is one of the fundamental parts on which the Grupo Martínez Bierzo is based.
For them, with our training program, we have managed to ensure that all our workers receive the necessary training to perform the necessary tasks in their workplace, in a safe, effective way and achieving a constant improvement in their skills and quality of work.
2. Regulations
The training plan complies with the legal requirements established by the following regulations:
- Law 31/1995 on the prevention of occupational risks, in particular:
· Article 18
· Article 19
- Basic requirements of the metal and construction industry
3. Training Classes
In our company we distinguish between:
- Technical training: that aimed at the development of technical knowledge and skills.
- Safety, health and environmental training: training aimed at learning safe work behaviors and learning how to use different safety tools and devices.
4. Objectives of the training
Our employee training plan aims to provide the knowledge, techniques, and ways of safe work to all our employees, both in terms of technical knowledge and in the use and handling of tools and equipment necessary for the performance of the different tasks.
5. Training Policy
- The training plans will be supervised by the management and the technical department to ensure their proper functioning.
- Existence of a system for receiving suggestions, by any worker, for the improvement of the training of workers, which will be analyzed by the technical department and management.
- Depending on the nature of the training, it may be financed in whole or in part by the Grupo Martínez Bierzo.
- If complementary training is necessary for a specific type of work, it will be financed by the Grupo Martínez Bierzo.
